St Oswald's, Widford
Widford church is tiny and built on the site of an earlier Roman villa or temple. The building is mainly 13th Century with remnants of an 11th Century Saxon or Norman building. Once surrounded by a medieval village, it now stands alone among fields. The church is open to visitors throughout the year during daylight hours.
Please note that access to St Oswalds is by foot only.
